Interships are available all year round. During fall and spring semesters internships are local and during summer internships can be taken in Los Angeles, San Francisco and elsewhere.

CSU Media Intership Program provides internships in the media/entertainment industry to students from all 23 CSU campuses. On-campus housing is available in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas for students who live out of the area. Housing stipends are provided to select students with demonstrated financial need. The program places students in internships throughout the academic year, with a special focus on summer internships. For students outside Los Angeles and the Bay Area this is a great opportunity to gain experience in these media/enterntainment centers.

Process for Students

Spring Enrollment
Enroll in the course and receive and receive an Extension. The grade is assigned in Fall when the student returns from successful completion of the internship

Fall Enrollment
A continuing student enrolled (or at least registered) in a course that will require an internship
may obtain, in advance, a written agreement from the instructor permitting completion of a suitable internship during the summer
preceeding the Fall course. This may be more difficult, since the student would be fulfilling the internship without the benefit of the
pertinent classroom instruction.

Complete the Internship Form. Enroll in TAT 396 Internships.
