Firefox crashing? Here's what seems to be happening: when the Quicktime plug-in launches in order to display the video & audio content embedded on this website, it by default calls home to the Apple mothership to see if any updates are available. This infuriates Firefox to such an extent that the browser will sometimes freeze and crash. You may be able to prevent this heartbreak by changing your Quicktime preferences: launch Quicktime, then access the update tab in the Quicktime preferences panel (on a PC: Edit>Preferences>Quicktime Preferences>Update) and uncheck the "Check for updates automatically" box. If you are experiencing this problem, and all this Quicktime preferences stuff seems insanely geeky to you, simply use another browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, etc.) when you visit Ottermedia online.
